Almost feels like deja vu here...

Thanks for the updates. The Superstore will remain a nuisance to visit until this is done.
By the time this done, the superstore will likely be demolished and condos / community planned on its site and Superstore on the ground floor of that building lol

Future intersection of Ontario Line and Eglinton LRT (and by then the west segment of EGLRT W will be completed). Crazy to think how this intersection will become so important to the City

Is there any concrete plans to redevelop the superstore lands or is that just speculation at this time?

--the following is speculation--
I don't believe there are any plans for now, BUT, the store has a huge and mostly usused parking lot in front, as well as a parking lot under the store, at ground level (the store itself is on the second floor, with parking lot/garage underneath). The vast majority of customers use the under-store parking, so the outside lot is redundant. It is likely such a large site was purchased to hang onto the land as an asset, and I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes condos in future. A good idea is the one suggested, build a tall condo building in what is now the parking lot, put a new store on the ground fllor (the store moves next door), then tear down the old store and put up another condo.

Much of the parking is being reclaimed for the ontario line. It is quite a large building though. I usually walk there so no need for parking for me though. Only shopping center that is walkable for me

I vaguely recall it was in one of the REIT's long term strategic plan to shareholders. The Superstore land is just too valuable for only a grocery store and huge parking lot to be in it.

Once LRT and OL are open, hundreds of commuters will be parking there for the day while they hope on the LRT / Subway lol

I'm in the same situation. Maybe we've met. Maybe we live at the same address.
As for saying the OL is taking away much of the parking lot, not really, I'd say no more than 10% is gone.

My hope is that this entire area becomes a density node akin to Yonge/Eg or North York City Centre.

You have the Aga Khan Museum and Japanese Cultural Centre + beautiful ravines on either side. Presumably you will have a midtown line at some point, and the walkability of the area could be fixed with making Don Mills and Eglinton more boulevard-like and less stroad-like + 1-2 more pedestrian bridges over the DVP.

I'd be happy to see a few more stores at Don Mills and Eg. A couple of take-out restaurants would be nice, too. Back to the Superstore, they used to have a few small stores at ground level (under store level) that are gone now: an Ontario Beer Store, and a Krispy Kreame Donuts. Maybe when they finish putting in the Crosstown neighbourhood (NW of the corner), some retail businesses will move in. Or they could move in now, to the HH Angus building, since it's (sort of) open.
