Re the board that they're using: what sort of board is that and is it already waterproof? Thanks in advanceYes, everything below the first floor is concrete, then various other elements are concrete such as the elevator shaft. The rest of the structure is made from typical steel (where the loads require it) and then cold formed steel wall panels. CFS isn't the most common material but it's used with regularity in midrise construction.

Can they start electrical rough ins before the water proofing layer? The boards they're using are GlassRoc (white) and DenseGlass (yellow) branded exterior sheathing panels. They're moisture resistant but not water proof, you will see an additional water proofing layer applied ontop.
The one across the street (Parliament & Co, 191 Parliament) is even slower. Sure, a few storeys taller, but construction started more than a year before this, and is still not complete. This one seems to me to be dragging along at a snail's pace.
Core is dead.I believe Core is having financial difficulties.
Sher & Downing are having issues there too. Looking at different options for that one.The one across the street (Parliament & Co, 191 Parliament) is even slower. Sure, a few storeys taller, but construction started more than a year before this, and is still not complete.
Correct. Steve's operation is different. As a Hamiltonian, I was very concerned for a minute that Core = Core Urban. It isn't, right?
This whole area is having financial (and mental and drug) difficulties. I often go to Figs nearby for breakfast and the things (aka people) I see while eating are something else...I believe Core is having financial difficulties.
Yes. Core did have several properties in Hamilton they were advancing though which are now dead in the water. As a Hamiltonian, I was very concerned for a minute that Core = Core Urban. It isn't, right?
