Sometimes it feels like council must have passed a law banning colour on buildings, given how much every architect/developer in the city is obsessed with making everything grey.

Having seen three concerts here now (PJ Harvey in Sept 2024, Tokyo Police Club in November 2024, and Broken Social Scene yesterday), they got the inside done pretty well. The sight lines and sound are good. I haven't tried table seating upstairs yet. Washrooms are adequate. Entry/exit is quick.

I'm not surprised they're closing that joint, unfortunately. They didn't bother renovating the Alliance Cinemas sign for years.
