Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

If the valuations presented by the owners ran to the tune of over $100M, I can see why ML took the matter to a tribunal.

We will never know if ML made an offer to settle - which likely would have been higher than their position in court - nor will we know whether they got a ruling that was better than what they offered, or what they predicted.

Clearly, this was a hardball negotiation.

Great shot! Jealous I didn't think of snapping that. :p

Question... are those huge existing sewage and water pipes running across those pits, or are they big supporting beams to keep them from caving in?

Sorry one more dumb question, are we literally looking at the future 'station boxes' or are these just construction portals to get stuff in and out of the tunnels. I'm assuming the former. Pretty spectacular.

To be more specific, these pits will be the eventual head houses or entry buildings. The actual train platforms will run directly under Queen Street.
