The Avenue Rd Station isn't going to age well with all that exposed concrete wall-to-ceiling once water starts to seep through.

Looks kinda sorta sleek I suppose. I like the signage against the wall with the station names.... Wrap this up already, looks like they're so close yet so far

Are platform screen doors even necessary for a project like this? It's not the same as a subway, and trams usually stop much quicker than subways do.They really went out and splurged on the platform screen doors. They look invisible.

I get the street name underneath the station name on stations that aren't named for the street. But "Kennedy - Kennedy Rd" just seems redundant and stupid.

Would you put them outside too? Or are the sightlines good enough? We have to strike a balance of not blowing the budget, considering how crowded the platforms get, and probably a litany of things I can't think of at the moment.
Further, does the line 5 even have the right equipment in order to stop precisely at the same spot each time?

Yes - though I'm not sure they'd bother engaging it for Science Centre and Kennedy.

Platform screen doors allow the trains to enter and leave stations faster. It also decreases the chances of things or people getting on the tracks and causing delays.
Trams can have platform screen doors as you can see in the Dubai Tram (Alstom Citadis LRV /Alstom’s Urbalis signaling ) and the Lusail Tram (Citadis as well). The former had them on all stations while the latter only has them in underground stations.

They didn't build the stations with platform screen doors instead they are trying out a system that uses overhead sensors that will alert the operater and transit control that someone is too close to the tracks.

I didn't list every single one. My point is, it's dumb and redundant in all the examples where they did it. It literally doesn't provide you any extra information, and it's just extraneous info. It boggles my mind that that was approved by someone.
