Just such an... odd design.

Based on the rendering it feels like they pushed all the features to the edges to make room for... a farmer's market? Or have other uses been proposed here.

And not having the retail/cafe space on the south opening up to the square is such a lost opportunity.

Are the hanging "bases" meant to be lights? I can already see them putting up "Baseball Not Permitted" signs :)

I would go so far as to call this 'bait and switch' it bares so little resemblance to what we started with as an idea.
