It’s not in a tunnel, it’s in an open cut which I assume was easy to do because there was literally nothing on the site of the station. And it can be continued in a trench down Hwy 27.I can't remember, why does Humber station need to be in a tunnel?
Are provisions being made for the eventual south extension to Woodbine/the airport?

I feel like its the project that everybody in the region has forgotten about, especially after Mammolitti was ousted from council. It still feels weird but good to see this project moving forward. I've just become used to major transit projects being killed by every successive government.
I remember hearing an opinion of how politicization of transit projects in Canada makes it incredibly hard for us to consistently build transit. The speaker was comparing to continental Europe IIRC?I feel like its the project that everybody in the region has forgotten about

If that’s the case, the forgetting about this line is the best thing for people who care about transit in that part of Toronto. Hopefully it’ll get extended without drama to the Pearson transit hub - if the stimulus money moves that project along.
