This is exciting. Hariri does great work (even better than the Pontarini half, IMHO) -- if this is anything like McKinsey or the pharmacy school building in Kitchener, we're in for a treat. Dude really knows how to use his materials. Also, this will look great next to Fashion House.
 
One can't help but imagine what if they ditched the lower 4/5ths of the building and went with a mid-rise based on the design of the undulating form of the penthouse unit. As it stands now the proposal is very contextual and all, but felt busy with too many distinctive elements (I've noticed that issue with HPA projects, notably 234 Simcoe as well, where the tallest tower had to be interrupted by elements that are completely different from the rest of the structure)

Some more initial signs of potential activity around this project. Earlier this week, two hard hats were seen walking around the property. Then today, a crew of surveyors was on site, preparing an updated survey of the property on behalf of Great Gulf...
