SmartLiving, SmartCentres REIT’s wholly owned residential brand, is redeveloping approximately 2 acres of the under-utilized northwest corner of the Yorkgate Mall parking lot for a proposed 27-storey rental apartment building – the first new high-rise development in the Jane/Finch area in many decades. This proposed project is adjacent to SmartCentres’ Yorkgate Mall (which remains untouched in this proposal) and will soon be connected by the Finch West LRT. 

The proposed development, designed by Petroff Partnership Architects, will include 305 rental suites; ranging in size from approximately 450-800sf with a mix of studio, 1- and 2-bedroom units.
