A new proposal submitted to the City of Toronto at the end of February seeks rezoning and an Official Plan Amendment to permit a new 8-storey development on Bayview Avenue just south of Davisville. The proposal by Gairloch Developments calls for the replacement of four existing houses with a mid-rise condominium project at 1410 Bayview.

The architectsAlliance-designed plan would rise 28.71 metres from the west side of Bayview Avenue, stepping back at the twice. A retail space of 98 m² is proposed beside the lobby. The west side of the ground floor would contain three townhome units, while 62 additional condominium units are proposed above in a mix of 20 one-bedroom units (31% of total), 37 two-bedroom units (57% of total), and 8 three-bedroom units (12% of total).

Residents would have access to 128 m² of interior amenity spaces and 66 m² of exterior amenity space, all housed on the ground floor. The outdoor amenities and other outdoor spaces surrounding the building are being designed by landscape architects Brook McIlroy.

Parking for the development would be housed in a two-level underground garage with 48 parking spaces, 44 for residents, and 4 for visitors. A total of 66 stacked bicycle parking spaces are also proposed in the garage, of which 59 are long term residential bicycle parking spaces and 7 are visitor bicycle parking spaces.
