Evolved from a 2015-proposed 0-shaped design into a twin 49-storey tower mixed-use project now being marketed as Nobu Toronto, new information continues to emerge for the newest development from Madison Group in partnership with Westdale Properties. The Teeple Architects-designed project hit the market earlier this year in dazzling fashion with an event attended by Japanese chef and brand namesake Nobu Matsuhisa, along with celebrity investor and Hollywood icon Robert DeNiro. In the weeks since this official launch, new marketing materials have been released, revealing the building's features such as its amenity offerings.

Residents of the development's 718 condominium suites will enjoy a range of amenities on the 9th and 10th floors of the complex's podium, with indoor amenity spaces appointed by interior designers Studio Munge, and outdoor amenities featuring landscaping work by Ferris + Associates Inc. The two floors will be connected via a striking central feature that acts as a focal point: a black granite-faced water feature on the 10th will also act as a light well for the 9th floor.

The 9th floor plan of the Nobu Fitness Club, seen above, includes a legend identifying the uses. (Click on the image to enlarge it to see the numbers.) They indicate a fitness centre (1), the glass-encircled atrium (2), a spin studio (3), a yoga studio (4), a massage room (5), an ofuro—a tub to soak in after massages (6), a hot tub (7), dry sauna (8), steam room (9), a cold plunge pool (10), change rooms (11), and a central water feature (12). A rendering of the fitness centre (below) shows how workout equipment will be positioned around the light well and water feature, allowing ample natural light to penetrate the centre of this zen-like space.

Just above, the 10th floor will boast a mix of indoor and outdoor amenities. Its numbered floor plan shows the outdoor terrace (1) surrounding the glass atrium (2), with four barbecue and prep areas (3), four indoor spaces referred to as "Nobu Villas" (4) three of which including dining tables, a conference room (5), a movie screening room (6), a games lounge (7), a private dining area with chef's table (8), serveries (9), and the central water feature (10).
