As finishing details are still being applied to the public realm around the building and other odds and ends, residents continue to move into more and more suites in Plaza's Musée, a 17-storey Quadrangle-designed condominium development in Toronto's King West neighbourhood. With pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) being carried out for penthouse units now, residents are now becoming familiar with the building and all of its offerings.

A few units still remain available at Musée, and a collection of model suites appointed by Enid Macintosh are helping prospective buyers visualize some of the design possibilities. Among the model suites open to view, #1116 is a three-bedroom unit on the building's 11th floor, featuring south and east exposures.

The suite's kitchen shows off features including a glass tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances and finishes including self-cleaning ovens, built-in multicycle dishwashers, frost-free double door refrigerators with bottom mount freezers, and built-in combination microwave oven/range hoods.

Two of the suite's three bedrooms are situated at the east site of the unit. Currently offering views of the city skyline, the neighbouring King Portland Centre will make the view more of a skyline/intimate urban mix once the residential/office/retail complex is complete.

The third bedroom—decorated below in a den configuration—overlooks the future park space being built to the south of this wing. The park offers both the promise of natural light forever in the suite, and—with the connecting laneways—a green mid-block oasis for residents and locals to enjoy, connecting to the new restaurants and nightlife of this developing block.

Four months ago we got a sneak peek at some of the building's Bryon Patton and Associates-appointed common elements. Since then, work has continued on making the remaining amenity spaces ready for residents. Among these is the outdoor pool deck with hot tubs and change rooms. Not yet in use when we visited last week, the pool is now full of water and will open imminently.

Another outdoor space nearing completion is the rooftop terrace. Offering views of the surrounding city, it will connect with a main lounge and party space, is now being fitted out with fixtures and finishes.

The building's amenities will be complemented by a significant upgrade to the local public realm, coming in the form of a street-level galleria connecting with the 8,000 ft² public park. Work on the galleria is now practically complete, as construction activity ramps up on the park to the south.
