Four decades later, the CN Tower's height is still unsurpassed in the western hemishphere. In today's Photo of the Day, submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Giulio Cosmo Calisse, the 553 metre giant pierces through a low cloud layer over downtown Toronto. The Rogers Centre, Roundhouse Park, Ripley's Aquarium, the Delta Hotel and the Bremner Tower can be seen through the clouds.
