Yonge Street is known for its walkability, culture, and for its tremendous length. The street also serves as an important geographic dividing line between the east and western sides of the city. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Oscar Flores, this north/south axis is shown carving an illuminated line down the centre of Toronto. This show was captured from high above Yonge Street, just north of Highway 401 in North York.
