A long awaited makeover of Berczy Park is one step closer to realization, as a call for tender has been made, looking for contractors to provide the materials, equipment, labour and supervision required for Claude Cormier + Associés' plan to be realized. The park will be upgraded with various features like patterned paving, as well as a new fountain, inspired by the dogs living in the surrounding neighbourhood and which are frequently brought to the space.

A deadline of March 31st has been given for tender submissions, with the winning bidder required to commence work immediately after the conclusion of the 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games.
