The Urban Land Institute is holding its second annual Urban Ideas Competition, this time in cooperation with the Downtown Brampton Development Corporation. The competition this year focuses on ideas for how the small historic town centres scattered around the GTA can be rejuvenated and revitalized. With prize winnings totaling $6,000, there is certainly an incentive to join in. Submissions will be judged by senior members of the real estate development industry, and entries will be displayed in both Downtown Brampton and Toronto.

While there is a $50 entry fee for students and a $100 entry fee for regular members of the public, the contest is open to anyone to enter, but the team lead must be a ULI member. The registration deadline is March 6th, and final submissions are due March 20th. The winners of the competition will be announced April 22nd.
