New development continues to add density to Toronto's trendy Yorkville area, home to some of Canada's most posh retailers and exclusive restaurants. Back in 2007, excavation was progressing at the site of 100 Yorkville at Bellair, by Invar Building Corporation and Tricon Capital. The development features two buildings containing a combined 96 luxury condominium units, and the restored historic facade of the original Mount Sinai Hospital location on Yorkville Avenue.

Fast forward to 2015, and construction has long since been completed on the 16- and 8-storey, Hariri Pontarini Architects and Young + Wright / IBI Group Architects-designed buildings, with the restoration of the historic Mount Sinai Hospital facade overseen by heritage specialists ERA Architects.
