If you are lucky, you haven't been outside in a week, or you are somewhere with palm trees and sunshine. For the rest of us, it has been a cold one. Frigid temperatures in the -20s (not including the windchill!) keep most of us inside, but some photographers actually seek out these conditions. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Empty Quarter, heat exhaust from many Toronto buildings reacts with the extreme cold to create large plumes of steam rising from the city.
