Known as 'The Crystal', architect Daniel Libeskind's modern addition to the historic Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) has become one of the most photographed pieces of architecture in Toronto. Located on the southwest corner of Avenue Road and Bloor, the unique shape of the building provides interesting reflections of neighbouring buildings and activity at street level. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Peter Crock, the 1936 facade of the Park Hyatt Hotel is reflected off of the ROM's crystalline structure.
