Yesterday, we took a look at Tango, part of Concord Adex's 45-acre, master-planned 'Concord Park Place' community that aims to add a total of about 7,500 new residents to the Sheppard and Leslie area of North York. Just across Esther Shiner Blvd to the north of Tango, the construction of Tango2 has made considerable progress in recent months. The 20-storey, Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects-designed is just about topped off, with work now under way on the mechanical penthouse section up top.

Like its taller sibling to the south, Tango2 is clad in a dark window wall glazing with accents in the form of white horizontal aluminium banding. The cladding now reaches approximately two thirds of the way to the top, and in the coming months we will see the exterior finished off with balcony glazing.

While adjacent properties included big box retailing and parking lots, Tango2 is adding boutique retail in the ground floor of its podium along Esther Shiner Boulevard and Provost Drive. The podium is being clad in a combination of black and grey glass, while the second level features ledgerock accents.

Here is a closer look at those ledgerock accents.

Once construction wraps up and occupancy begins, residents of Tango2 will have access to amenities on the building's ground floor and mezzanine including a game room, guest suite, gym and party room, as well as a podium-top terrace located on the 8th floor.
