We have been closely following the construction of The Berwick and CityTowns by Andrin Homes and The Brown Group of Companies, a 17-storey, Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects-designed condominium and townhouse development at the corner of Duplex and Berwick. The project has been topped off since late last year, and in the time since, cladding installation has proceeded up the tower, with just a couple floors left to clad before reaching the top.

With the building topped off and much of the tower now clad, the staging areas at ground level aren't as busy as they were earlier on in the construction process, and crews are now getting set to proceed on the masonry cladding for the townhomes which will front onto both Duplex Avenue and Berwick Avenue, known as CityTowns.

A scaffold has been erected around the lower three floors of the building's podium to allow installation of the brick masonry which will make up much of the townhomes' exterior.

Further to the north on Duplex, work continues on preparing the remaining townhomes for their fixtures and finishes.

The Berwick's 205 units are slated for late-2014 occupancy, but we will return beforehand for another updated look at the development's construction progress.
