There may be no area of Toronto in the midst of a greater transformation than that of the Entertainment District. Located just to the west of the city's financial core, and especially sought after by those who would prefer a walk or brief transit ride to work, the area's warehouses and surface parking lots are being reworked, one-by-one, into new developments, some presenting a completely modern face, while others incorporate the area's heritage.

King Blue Condos, a twin towered condominium development being developed by Easton’s Group and Remington Group, is one of the second type: King Blue will make a notable contribution to both King Street and Blue Jays Way with its restoration and incorporation of the historic Westinghouse building façade into its podium. The development consists of a 44-storey, 399-unit first phase on the southern half of the site, and a 48-storey, 408-unit second phase to the north.

Sales are already well under way on first phase, while the project's second phase will be hitting the market in the near future. The ground floor of the complex will provide over 13,000 square-feet of new retail space for the area, while one floor above, the south podium will honour the local legacy through Theatre Museum Canada, the country’s only museum devoted to the history of the performing arts, which will occupy roughly 9,000 square feet of space. The Princess of Wales, the Royal Alex, Roy Thomson Hall, Glenn Gould Studio, Second City, and the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts are just some of the venues you will be able to walk to.

The upper floors of the podium will be home to the Westinghouse Lofts. These suites offer one and two-bedroom loft units between 455 and 953 square feet in size on floors 3 to 8. While the Westinghouse Lofts at King Blue represent a specific area of the project, they will have access to the same broad range of amenities as those living in the towers will have. King Blue's Munge Leung-designed amenity spaces are major highlight of the development, whether inside or out, and they include an expansive NAK-landscaped terrace found on the podium roof.

King Blue's bold marketing campaign has seen a runway show, the celebrity endorsement from hockey legend Wendel Clark, and has put a major focus on highlighting the vibrance of the area surrounding the site. The developers just want you to know that everything Toronto has to offer will be at your feet, whether in the complex itself or in the surrounding blocks.
