Bazis Inc. and Plaza, developers behind the slender metallic tower at 1 Yorkville, held an event celebrating the launch of the project at their presentation gallery at 162 Cumberland Avenue near Avenue Road and Bloor. The renderings for this project, released bit by bit over the last few months, have worked their magic and amongst all the wine and hors d'oeuvres at the event, an intense interest in this dynamic development was palpable. Yorkville is Canada's top shopping district of course, so the area, and 1 Yorkville, are all about luxe appointments. Along with the dynamic façade of the model on display at the party, the amenities of 1 Yorkville is where Bazis and Plaza intend to really seal the luxury deal.
There are two main areas within 1 Yorkville where residents will enjoy these ultra-swank amenities, and we have introduced readers to them in earlier articles. One group of amenities is atop the building's heritage podium, the other is at the very top of the tower. Today we have more details of what's planned for both sections, and we will start down at podium-top level.
"The Spa" on the fourth floor is where Bazis plans on constructing a myriad of water amenities. There will be an outdoor pool with cabanas, a wading pool, a hot tub, and inside we can now show you plunge pools, both hot and cold.
An aqua massage, steam and sauna rooms, a Zen Garden, and a juice bar - all surrounded by ultra-lux finishes and lighting, round out this incredibly well-appointed level.
One level up on the fifth floor is where you'd go to work up a sweat. The bulk of the space is dedicated to a fitness gallery outfitted with top-tier weight and cardio machines. There is also a cross fit studio and a Pilates studio to round out workouts. A WiFi lounge and games room are also planned for this floor.
Finally, the rooftop is where you'd want to entertain your guests. With great views of the city, fully-equipped kitchens, two party rooms, a fire pit lounge, multi-media lounge, a sun deck and outdoor theatre there is plenty to keep guests entertained… and perpetually jaw-dropped!
