Last October's VIP Launch of King Blue Condominiums, by Remington and the Easton’s Group, was a pretty unforgettable event.  From the moment we walked through the mind-bending Montana Steele designed entrance hallway, we knew we were in for something extraordinary. The party, complete with fire-eaters, 1920s themed cigar girls and even a fashion show, was a tough act to follow! So, how then does one follow up such a lavish event? In a city like Toronto, the equation is pretty simple: 1 Hockey Legend + Autographs = Excitement!

Maple Leaf legend Wendel Clark to be exact. The retired Leafs Captain was on hand at the King Blue presentation centre this past Saturday to greet fans and sign autographed King Blue hockey pucks for the official public launch of the 48 and 44-storey Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects designed development.

We already shared an entire article discussing the scale architectural model which serves as the centrepiece of the presentation centre.  Scale models are a relatively common feature to UrbanToronto readers, but have any of you ever seen a scale dessert? Yea, not so often!

As far as condominium presentation centres go, King Blue’s at 355 King St. West is certainly one of the nicest we have seen thus far. If you happen to be in the Entertainment District, drop in and take a look around: it is now open Monday through Thursday from 12PM to 6PM, as well as Saturdays and Sundays from 12PM to 5PM.

The complex will feature resort style amenities creating an oasis in the heart of Toronto's action. Quality retail shops are coming to the base, and the area boasts countless restaurants and clubs. The best of live theatre is nearby too, and in fact King Blue will be home to a new attraction for Toronto, Canada's Theatre Museum.

Additional information and renderings regarding King Blue Condominiums can be found at the project's associated dataBase page, linked below.  Want to get involved in the discussion? Check out the related Forum thread, here, or voice your opinion in the comments section provided below.
