With the Toronto International Film Festival in full swing, we're due for an update on the progress of The Daniels Corporation and Kirkor Architects' Cinema Tower. Some of our Forum members have been busily snapping some amazing photos of the Cinema Tower, which is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2013. The John Street Corridor is undergoing a dramatic transformation. Led by last year's completion of the Festival Tower and TIFF Bell Lightbox at King Street West and John Street, there are several other significant developments happening on the strip within a few blocks of each other. These towers include 300 Front Street West and The Mercer at 8 Mercer Street.
When finished, Cinema Tower will reach 43 stories and contain 444 units. Below is a rendering of how the tower will look:
