Taking advantage of its central location, an abundance of retail options and excellent public transit, 101 Erskine is neatly inserting itself into one of the city's most sought after neighbourhoods. The site of rapid intensification following the opening of the Yonge subway, there was, until recently, a lull in development. This trend has been reversed in recent years as renewed interest in the area has sparked a series of new projects. Among these is Tridel and Beaux Properties 101 Erskine. Rising 32 storeys and containing 421 suites, the project is located several blocks to the north of Yonge & Eglinton and includes a small townhouse component consisting of 10 units. Designed by CS&P Architects, the firm employed a monochromatic colour scheme for the exterior of the tower, relying on charcoal grey and white to provide definition to the tower while punctuating the entrance with a cooper clad canopy. In addition to the variable application of the cladding to break up the mass of the tower, there are a series of six metal struts on the 24th floor of the building that provide support for two expansive south facing private terraces. Below are images of the architectural model, a picture of the site as it currently exists as well as an aerial view that provides a larger context for the project within the neighbourhood.

Immediately to the south of the tower is a series of ten townhouses that not only provide a more human scaled element to the project, but front onto a proposed linear park that will link Broadway Avenue to Erskine Avenue.
