Captured by Forum member nicetommy, this picture shows an unexpected addition to Brookfield's First Canadian Place as part of the soon to be completed revitalization of the tower. It appears that with the installation of white fritted glass panels, came the addition of a lighting system to illuminate the perimeter of the roof. Although only partially complete on the north side of the building, we expect to see the remaining three sides illuminated as the project continues to progress. Beginning in 2009 and wrapping up within the year, this far reaching rejuvenation of First Canadian Place will help to redefine the complex and maintain its attractiveness to tenants.
