We have a construction photo update on The King East. Developed by Lamb Developments, Hyde Park Homes and The Sher Company, with design by Core Architects, Forum member drum188 stopped by the corner of King and Parliament recently to snap some photos of the current progress.

Located just outside the booming Disitillery District, The King East is joining a variety of projects coming to the neighbourhood. With an eventual vertical climb of 15 storeys, the building is about a third of the size it will be when complete. Initially intended to be finished by this year, the photos suggest it may be delayed until 2013.

The project is next door to another big development, 333 King Street East. You can bet it's doing well in sales if it's associated with and developed by Toronto real estate guru Brad Lamb.
