Rumours have recently been circulating on the UrbanToronto forum that the Sutton Place Hotel has been sold. It has been confirmed that Sutton Place was sold to Lanterra Developments as of last Friday. Lanterra plans to renovate the establishment, supplementing the building with condominiums, similar to the changes on the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences in Yorkville.

In this image by Savel and the City, we can a glimpse of some sort of plan on the bottom half of the poster for Sutton Place Hotel. Whether those are plans are for the new design or layouts from the current building is still speculation.
