Although noteworthy upscale renovations have been gracing McDonalds franchises across the GTA lately, UrbanToronto's eyes have been fixated on the city's new Ronald McDonald House at 240 McCaul Street near College, which has quietly been nearing completion over the past couple months:

Constructed by Tridel, Toronto's new Ronald McDonald House is set to be the largest in the world, and located much closer to University Avenue's hospital row than the original location at 26 Gerrard Street.

The facility will house up to 80 families, all related to children who require special medical attention at the nearby Toronto hospitals.
