Couture The Condominium, a 42-storey project by The Monarch Group, is under construction on Ted Rogers Way, otherwise known as the north end of Jarvis, near its terminus at Bloor Street. Co-developed by The Philmor Group, the tower completes the Bloor Walk complex, the first tower of which is located to the west on Hayden Street.
UrbanToronto members cruzin4u and dt_toronto_geek recently updated the forum with construction photos taken in mid-April and early-May. The photos show that the building's underground garage is quickly rising, and that ground floor slab will likely be poured quite soon. Excavation of the site started in the fall of 2010.
Couture's modern design is by Graziani + Corazza Architects.
Couture will complete the street wall on the west side of Ted Rogers Way, nestling in beside the recently completed X The Condo by Great Gulf Homes.
