Demolition work continues at 426 University which is slated to be the future home of the Residences at the RCMI condo. We recently reported that the facade would be saved and incorporated into the new complex. Apparently we were mistaken as tear down has begun. We guess the structure was too old and weak to be saved. If this was the case we'd rather they forgot about trying to replicate the facade with new materials. The past is the past in this case and let's move on. The 42 storey condo is being developed by Tribute Communities and is designed by Zeidler Partnership Architects.
