Construction trailer arriving and hoarding going up can only mean one thing - construction is set to start on the new Ïce Condos at York Centre.

Developed by Lanterra/Cadillac Fairview, and designed by aA, this project will feature two condos, respectively 65 and 55 storeys, plus a 31 storey office tower. The condo tower will be located on the south end of the lot with the office sitting on the south west corner of Bremner and York Street. With the amount of growth continuing to take place we have to wonder about the recession. What recession? Here's a rendering of what's coming.

This rendering shows just the condo component with the white rectangle denoted where the office tower will go. The office tower will be built in the future when demand for office space improves.
