The revitalization of Nathan Phillips Square at Toronto's City Hall continues apace. The design by PLANT Architect and Shore Tilbe Perkins + Will called for the removal of the bunker-like single storey building which housed skate rentals, and food counter, and washrooms, to the west of the skating rink. Urban Toronto member Androiduk caught this shot of the demolished building.

Over the next couple of years, this corner will see new buildings added to replace the functions from the demolished building, and add new sparkle and shine to the city's largest public gathering spot.
