does anyone has info regarding the various TTC buses and their fuel consumptions
past or present buses doesnt matter, im just looking for some info

Speaking of which, it would be fantastic if the TTC's streetcars and subways could be powered by renewable energy sources. That would fit quite well with the overall 'green' image of transit. On hot summer days when the Nanticoke plant is in operation, the TTC is in effect coal powered. Not very green sounding anymore.

Of course, that still represents far fewer emissions than if everyone drove, which is equally important.

This was raised at TTC meeting this week that both Pape and Victoria as well other station that are going to be upgraded that Green Energy be looked at using solar power where possible.

Just think how much roof space TTC has for a solar farm where excess power could be sold off to support the system $$ wise.
