After seeing that wall of grey spandrel, it was clear, this was going to be a fail!

Your first clue was that the building was designed by Graziani + Corazza Architects. The only projects of theirs that have turned out semi-well are 109 OZ and Couture, while they have left us with such noticeable clunkers as Aura, Fly, Residences of College Park, and DNA3.
Lago works for me, above the podium. They weren't design architects on 109 OZ, that was RAW.

It's going to come down to the balconies on the white portions of the building. If they're not super milky and close to opaque this is going to be even more of a mess.

I could deal with a deep, dark shade of charcoal grey, like in the rendering but this lighter, ugly shade of grey is offensive to my eyes! I'm really getting worried about Yonge Street and the effect it's going to have on me, since I walk here every day. Ugly buildings like Women's Collage Hospital just irritate me and I'm sure that causes some kind of stress, that most people don't realize. All this god-damned grey is just making my eyes hurt!
