Wow that's absolutely horrific cladding on the base. To think...expensive granite died for this! Where is PETA when you need them? (People for the Ethical Treatment of Architecture)
 
The ten frames around the ground floor windows are part of (what I presume to be) the public art portion of the building. Upon a walking glance, the textured silver frames are imprinted with things ranging from photographs, to stock ticker info, to a topographical map.

To think... a great old cinema, a Toronto favorate that brought nightlife to this area of Yonge Street, was demolished for this.

I think it's ok aesthetically, not everything can be top class architecture. However, it should have been a super tall, perhaps 148 storeys? Just my .02 .......
