Interesting. I think we're seeing brick veneers here: this is definitely not a full or even half brick with a precast backing, but neither is it a moulded precast with stained fronts either. This is a case of a brick veneer, or more like brick tiles that have been applied on the precast panel. The panel itself is pigmented with the colour they want for the mortar between the "bricks".

So, compare this with what's going up on Daniels Waterfront now. There, I believe it's brick embedded into a precast backing. You can see the images here, and my explanation for that process here.
