Not a fan of logos in general, but I think it works for the facade facing City Hall, which I've felt has always been the bland side of the building. It's not a bad logo either in comparison to others.

Funny, I thought something similar. In fact the logo, as understated as it is, does mitigate the blandness of this facade. Consider that for a moment - improved by the logo.

They're adding the upper lip/edge. I thought it was cancelled. I'm glad it wasn't. The design looked unresolved without it. (Sorry for the crappy cellphone shots.)
