Mississauga M1 & M2 at M City | 197.81m | 60s | Rogers Real Estate | Core Architects

The big launch for agents was today, at the Cineplex movie theater complex on Rathburn.... huge crowd...

They let us in, 650 realtors at a time... there were at least 4 groups of 650, I've never seen so many agents at a launch ..... should be sold out within days, they are accepting offers as of 5:00pm today..

During the presentation, Jeff Clark of Baker Real Estate advised that due to overwhelming response, they are already moving up plans for the 2nd tower.....

I saw a sign at Burnamthorpe and Creditview today saying something like VIPs should go to this realtor at a nearby office in a retail plaza. It was all for sales of the first tower of M City.

This is way overpriced at close to $600/sqft and $20K extra for parking...IMHO.
But it WILL sell because people are in a stupid freaking frenzy these days.
Occupancy targeted for 2021 but more likely 2022.

They probably won't need the sales office for the first 1 being that it's probably going to sell-out in days.

and.... this project -tower 1- is officially Sold Out.... the builder may have held back a few penthouses, but every unit that was released has been sold....

2nd tower is expected to launch sometime this summer....

By the looks of things, the first tower is going to start before Nine Tower across the road that are only 25s + 24s + 7s and been on the market well over a year.

Now we are getting a 60s tower, when is the 70s coming, since it took the Absolute Towers to break the 39s height back in 2005 considering only one was to be built, but demand require a 2nd?? If there was more land for the site, a 3rd would got built as well. The first tower sold out in hours and based on the demands, they went with the 2nd.

It also shoots the city thinking down that the buildings on Burnhamthrope should start at 15s at Mavis and climb to 40's by Duke of York. It needs to be like Yonge St as a roller coaster for heights.

Have they given a name for the first tower?

Hopefully serves as a lesson to developers. Up your game in terms of design. It sells better. Absolute proved it, now M City is proving it. Both entered the market with high price points for Mississauga - and sold out as quickly as they came on the market.

I hope Amacon and Daniels are paying attention.

Took a visit on Sunday, apologies for the wait:
