OMG!!! Cn tower pics right? amazing :D!. Four Seasons will be a huge player in the yorkville skyline. right now you can't really see the glass yet but it's sure to be a stunner!
It's amazing how far you can see from up there. toronto is very unique compared to other american cities. its got highrises sprawled all over the place! (almost to the point where it is messy!).

Midtown (yonge/egg) and Uptown (NYCC?) have really exploded. and most of them are apartment/condos.

The Four Seasons is up in the ranks of those towers that will make huge contributions to the skyline such as Aura and Shangri-la.

Random FS shot from today:

*This tower is gonna really stand out from Bay/Bloor. it'll be taller than anything around. it should do what the Bay Adelaide Centre did for Bay Street :D!

Off topic but.. is that queens park tower considered art-deco or neo classic? Can't put my finger on it.

By the early 20th century, a style emerged that was Gothic but also embraced tenets of Modernism, which was still in its very early stages. So you have Gothic buildings with sparser ornamentation, more windows, and more repetitive ornamental motifs.

Although Whitney's rather stiffer and more dull-bureaucratic than, say, Cass Gilbert's Woolworth Building...
