The Rehearsal Hall is located on the main floor between the box office and the north east corner of the building. It is set back the same distance from Queen Street as the depth of the fancy lounge that looks out on Queen, one floor above it.

We need that restaurant. We have had the sterility of the Sheraton Centre's street level for so many decades, but we still can't learn from those mistakes and animate downtown Queen. It's the worst of Modernism all over again, giving a street famous for its all-hour sidewalk vitality and street culture blank walls of brick and glass. That's not cultured.

Speaking of the PATH - has the PATH connections that have been shown as "future walkway" on the PATH Map for years opened? I haven't been in the Four Seasons Centre for a while ... gave up Opera for something a bit more cultural - Football (though being able to bring the baby with me to BMO Field had a lot to do with that!).

Maybe it is time to start considering how improvements to the exterior can be made. Maybe the Image Arts building can be a model?
