I really cant get enough of this tower. It's truly striking from every angle, and it's a pleasant way to take your eyes away from the Casas.

A friend of mine ranks the level of gentrification of a neghbourhood according to the ratio of banks vs. payday loan shops.

A neighbourhood with just payday loan places is probably a bit rough.

A neighbourhood with just banks is sterile and unaffordable.

If I recall correctly, he maintains the perfect ratio is 2 to 1 banks vs. payday loans. Gentrification is underway, but prices remain affordable. There is some grit, but you feel safe walking the street at night.

Moving away from gentrification, for a moment, a couple from yesterday. I have to say, I've been somewhat skeptical of the design but I was pleasantly surprised by its appearance IRL.

Lots going on here architecturally...but hopefully it will all come together and look sharp once all the finishing touches are completed.

The small angular crown is not in a pleasing proportion to the undulating sides as seen in the southern elevation. The other elevations are just ok .
