Thanks!

So do you suppose they are doing some materials testing? Seems odd that they only applied that black sealant on the one end, and are now applying the next layer to the same end while the rest of the building waits. I suppose whatever is going to hold the final exterior material on the outward angled second floor better be pretty robust!

Thanks walli... looks like they are planting trees this morning.

I saw some of your pics from yesterday on another site. Noticed a couple things beyond the trees.

1. Scaffolding on the East end of the museum (where they had applied the black coating and then a rigid layer of pink material). There are also pallets of what looks like stone exterior cladding along the South end there. I'm wondering if they will continue their fast-track testing on the East side and put up some cladding. If they do, would love to see that!

2. Noticed quite a bit of work on the far end of the cultural centre, including the steel frame for an angled skylight. I'm not certain, but I believe that is the second floor atrium lounge that has direct access to a small rooftop garden there. Will be a cool spot when done!

From your vantage, can't really see what is happening on the social hall side, which has a really large skylight. Think that one is not as far along.

This is what I was talking about in my note yesterday:

All credits to Jim Bowie.

I understand work is progressing at a torrent pace and that it likely looks quite different today from the above pic two days ago.

3 black town cars arrived about 30 minutes ago led by motorcycle police escorts. I do not see anyone right now. I will try to take a few pics I am leaving shortly for a client meeting... Gotta pay the bills!

Thanks Jim.. awesome. Much appreciated. It is amazing to see the care that His Highness and his family give to these projects.
