Yeah I'm with you on that. I really hoped it would all be black.

Once the building is done... I will photoshop the pics so the top is black. Then we can imagine its actually that way

The glass is the same colour on in both the pre-cast and tower portions. The effect you're seeing is just due to reflections.

I'm liking how this building relates to 1 King East when they are seen beside / against one another... they both have this stepped pattern to the precast portions that play into one another really nicely. not sure if it was planned to specifically interact that way but it's pretty cool!
