Streetview hasn't been on that laneway, so I can only get the shot of the roof across the Junction Point construction site:

I could support this idea, but I would prefer to see the garages omitted.

As this would be the pedestrian access (via the laneway), I would also like to see plan to make the laneway look and feel like a pedestrian-priority space.

Interlocking pavers, pedestrian-scale lights etc.

The lane appears to be a dead-end, a further good reason to restrict cars (nowhere to turn). I would like to see a second pedestrian egress in case of fire.
