179-189 Catharine Street North in Downtown Hamilton - A proposed three 3-storey residential back to back townhouse buildings with 44 units, renovation of existing dwelling with heritage significance with 4 units. 35 parking spaces with ramp to underground parking, and 40 bicycle spaces.

Aw dang, the original design looked really classy compared to this
If it's really brick, I could see this looking sharp, but the previous design was better in the render surely. I also am pretty annoyed we saw this reduced in height. We need housing badly and while people are calling others NIMBYs for opposing a few floors on a condo building, these smaller developments are reduced in size by a much larger percentage because everyone seems to disregard them.

Not sure where you are seeing a height reduction? These are still 3.5 floors + a rooftop patio access just as before.
 
Think i like the contrast brick colour better, still though I agree, done in real brick, this is a nice scale for infill for this area of the city.
