Stitched

Stitched together from images taken at the Waterclub last Sunday. Sorry I obviously missed a few spots.

They scary part is, even with 5 floors to go, Big bro, will rise another 10 floors over that.

Bremner-Southcore is "The City of the Future" - It's gonna have a wicked futuristic vibe down there, like the Blade Runner or something.

The thing I love about ice is that they are true towers in the sense of the word. They go straight up with incredible height and a small floorplate. I don't know how profitable it is to do it that way but I wish more condos would go for extreme vertical. (except one's like 90 harbour and MLS where they're just identical boxes that spout from a shared podium.)

.

this is a pornarama! amazing photo!

on a side note, due to the angle of the curves of Infinity II and ICE west from this shot, they look like they could be twin towers of the same project going up at the same time!

I was driving in from Mississauga one day recently and there's a point on the Gardiner when it looks like Ice West is just an extension of Infinity II -- a massive project with a recessed skinny top tower.

Both towers in the Ice Condominiums at York Centre complex will include additional height, equivalent to five floors, above the penthouse residential levels consisting of mechanical equipment rooms, elevator machine rooms and large sloshing damper tanks. A series of angled steel columns will support a floating concrete upper slab that will showcase the crown of both structures in 2013.

Wow. (Especially the first one!)

Great picture, you really captured the reflective properties of the glass. That glass is far superior to anything in southcore currently and I wish more of the cheap shoddy constructs down there would change their ways and be more like ice.
