The now-blue mechanical box looks great, but I still feel like the top of the tower is unresolved. The original exoskeleton design or even a Casa-hat would suit this one well.

The clips that hold the bands on are vertical, and the bands are always on an angle, so I'm not so certain there's anything very appealing for a pigeon to roost upon. If they were able to fit in behind a band, they'd find they were permanently on display to whoever lived behind the glass, and I'm not sure that would appeal to them either.

As interesting as the tower itself is, the podium definitely won the prize here. Very glad to see both aA and HP starting to use spider fittings for glass facades extensively (Ice, TP, 1 Bloor).

The wading pool has been cut, but there is a water feature going in at the bottom of the geometrical "tree" artwork.

The glass is looking great. Really looking forward to seeing the finishes being applied here. Looks like a major win for the public realm is on its way here!
