The most depressing place in the world today is Vancouver, British Columbia

^The best part of Vancouver, other than the Drive and Main, is Kits area--4th-10th/16th Avenue. Having dinner on Kits beach (in NA) simply can't be beat. 4th/10th Av can be astonishingly vibrant at night, not in a clubber type of way...more like dinner and drinks. I love Vancouver, but Toronto is of course much larger, so on sheer variety, Toronto wins.

Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion...but I lived in Vancouver for a while and although you can ski in the morning and sail in the afternoon...you are strangled by traffic and time your life around bridges.

Its a beautiful city no doubt...but when I was there it rained for 3 months straight.
